How Our Timesheet System Works

A simple, step-by-step guide to understanding how employees track their time and managers review their work

Understanding the Process

Our timesheet system is designed to be simple and easy to use for everyone. Whether you're an employee logging your daily hours, a manager reviewing your team's work, or a leader overseeing the entire organization, the process is straightforward and transparent.

Below, you'll find a visual guide showing exactly how the system works from start to finish.

Step-by-Step Breakdown

1

Employee Creates Timesheet

At the start of each week, employees log into the system and create a new timesheet. They select the week they're working on and begin entering their hours.

2

Fill in Daily Hours

For each day of the week, employees record how many hours they worked on different projects and activities. They can add notes to explain what they did.

3

Save as Draft (Optional)

If employees aren't finished yet, they can save their timesheet as a draft. This means they can come back later to add more hours or make changes before submitting.

4

Submit for Review

When everything looks correct, employees click "Submit." This sends the timesheet to their manager for approval. Once submitted, employees can't make changes unless the manager sends it back.

5

Manager Reviews

The manager receives a notification and reviews the submitted timesheet. They check if the hours make sense and if the work matches what was expected.

6

Approval or Feedback

If approved: The timesheet is marked as complete and the employee is notified.
If changes needed: The manager can send it back with comments explaining what needs to be fixed. The employee then makes the changes and resubmits.

7

Leadership Overview

Company leaders (CEO and Chairman) can view all timesheets across the organization. This helps them understand how teams are performing and where resources are being used.

8

Reports & Insights

Administrators can generate reports showing team performance, project hours, and productivity trends. These insights help make better decisions about projects and resource planning.

Why This Process Works

Clear & Transparent

Everyone knows exactly where their timesheet is in the process and what happens next.

Saves Time

No more paper timesheets or endless email chains. Everything happens in one place.

Better Communication

Managers and employees can easily communicate about timesheets with built-in comments and notifications.
